History
Kozbeyli is a village with roughly 600 years of history, set among pine forests in İzmir's Foça district. Families from Limnos, Lesbos and Thessaloniki settled here during the population exchange. It's known for its stone houses, narrow streets, a historic mosque dating to 1611, the Kuzubeyi Tower and the Çapkınoğlu Mansion.

You can take a pleasant walk among the historic mosque, the Kuzubeyi Tower, the Çapkınoğlu Mansion and the village's stone streets. The village's famous mortar-ground coffee (dibek kahvesi) is another local icon.
Fula Mountain Hiking Trail
For nature-walk enthusiasts, the Fula Mountain trail offers a route open to nature tourism, with the chance to pick wild strawberries and visit the village market.

Getting There
Take the Yeni Foça turn-off on the İzmir–Çanakkale road and follow the Kozbeyli signs for about 3 km; it's also reachable via ESHOT's Kozbeyli buses from the Ulukent and Menemen İZBAN stations.
